How is the Ultra-Pure Hydrogen made?
First, we start with our source product. Our liquid hydrogen meets or exceeds 6.0 (99.9999%) Research grade quality.
Next, we have to ensure that we get 5.0 UHP (99.999%) grade quality or better from the bulk tank into the cylinders. To do this, we go thru a long series of vacuums and purges to remove the impurities that are in the cylinders. These impurities are mostly from air and moisture in the atmosphere.
After filling the cylinders, we perform the analysis required to check for trace oxygen, moisture and hydrocarbons.
